Local Contexts for Researchers (webinar)

This webinar focuses on how the Notices can be used to create pathways for partnership and collaboration, and support Indigenous cultural authority and data sovereignty.

Following a welcome and introduction to Local Contexts, three researchers working in and with archives, environmental sampling, biodiversity, and genetics talk about their work with the Notices:

The TK (Traditional Knowledge) Notice is a visible notification that there are accompanying cultural rights and responsibilities that need further attention for any future sharing and use of this material. The TK Notice may indicate that TK Labels are in development and their implementation is being negotiated.
