Indi Voices serves as a tool for raising awareness and fostering appreciation for the breadth and depth of Native American music. By documenting recordings across traditional and contemporary genres, it seeks to highlight underrepresented voices and celebrate the vibrant cultural continuum of Native artistry. Beyond its utility as a research resource, the discography is a call to engage with Native music on its own terms, cultivating respect for the communities and traditions that sustain this artistry while recognizing their dynamic evolution in the modern world.
