Data governance with CARE: A case study of interests under the kangaroo grass (Buwatj) project (Djandak Dja Kunditja, Country Healing its Home) (Dataset)

This is the de-identified primary interview data collected through interviews with Dja Dja Wurrung Clans Aboriginal Corporation (DDWCAC) and researchers (Federation University Ethics A21-147, ICIP DDWCAC)

Through the interview the rights, responsibilities and interests of DJAARA are identified to help answer the following questions:
1) How the Kangaroo Grass agricultural information can be made discoverable and reusable in ways that best support DJAARA in their aspirations to revive a traditional cropping system whilst also meeting the research needs of the university researchers.
2) How an information management solution for Kangaroo Grass agricultural information can be aligned with best practice information management (the CARE and FAIR principles) to support the rights and interests of Djaara in the agricultural economy including the right to govern (including authority to control and protect) Indigenous Data.
